Sidewall materials

Details: White UHMW (PTEX) sidewall material, dimensions 0.5" x 0.5" x 65". The material is used to create the sidewalls on skis/snowboards and comes sanded and flamed on two opposite sides. This material is very impact resistant and works well at cold temperatures. Please note that this material is already cut into approximately 0.5" strips, so you will need either 4 pieces for one pair of skis or two pieces for one snowboard. The sidewall strip is typically either attached to a core blank, then vertically profiled, sanded and flamed prior to layup for best results. Alternatively, the strips can be vertically profiled then attached to the vertically profiled core before layup.

Note: due to the product's size (length), in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, these sidewall strips will be coiled so that they easily fit into standard shipping boxes. It is recommended that when you receive the material, uncoil and let them relax before use.
